Marin Ventures is a not-for-profit California corporation classified as a 501(c) (3) charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Marin Ventures is part of the Leave-a-Legacy organization that educates people about making various types of bequests to non-profits.  Some of the most popular techniques include wills and charitable remainder trusts.  We have several articles available discussing the different gifting techniques.

How About donating a Vehicle? We have established an arrangement with Donate For Charity to process our vehicle donations. Donate For Charity arranges a free vehicle pickup, handles all the DMV issues, sells the vehicle at auction, and distributes the net proceeds to Marin Ventures. By donating, you’ll avoid the headache of selling a used vehicle, help support Marin Ventures, and receive a receipt entitling you to declare the fair market value of your vehicle as a tax deduction.
